Splash!

This week we started our ocean unit and we are having tons of fun! We began yesterday by reading a general informational book about the ocean and then watching a little video about ocean life. Then, we sorted animals as to whether they live in the ocean or not. We also brainstormed a list of things we could find in the ocean.

Today, we read Splash in the Ocean, which is one of my favorites. The kids love the song that goes along with it! After reading, we talked about action words and made a list of our own. Then, we made a new page for the book using our own animal and action word.
