Love Is In The Air {Centers, Freebie and Giveaway!}

It seems like this year, things start to get so overwhelming! I feel like I am frantically trying to get in all the themes I want to do. While we've been learning about penguins this week, our workshops and math centers have been valentine themed and the kids are loving them!

We are still working on digraph sounds...most of the class is doing a great job with these.
We're also working on beginning blends...these seem to be giving us a little bit of trouble, so we're going to keep practicing.
I'm so happy with how well the kids are doing with stretching out their CVC words...they are so proud of themselves!
Their favorite workshop this week has definitely been Heartbreaker. The kids read the words and decide if they are real words or heartbreaker words. This is a freebie here :)
We've also been loving our new math centers! We're still working on counting groups of 11-20 objects.
We're also working on addition facts to 5.
This year's class seems to have a difficult time with the concept of more and less, so this center is perfect for us to practice that concept!
Last, we're working on adding a number to ten, which the kids are doing really well with.
All of these centers can be found in my Valentine pack that you can see by clicking the picture below.
Want to win this pack? My good friend Deeanna and I are teaming up to give a lucky reader both of our Valentine packs. You can see her pack by clicking the picture below.
It's super easy to enter...just use the rafflecopter below to let me know that you follow my blog (click follow on the sidebar) and Deeanna's blog (click here). We'll pick a winner Friday be midnight, so enter quickly :).
