Green Eggs and Ham

Today we read Green Eggs and Ham. I think all kids love this book and my class this year is no exception.
After reading the story, we tasted green eggs and ham and wrote our opinion of our snack {which went into a mini lesson on fact and opinion which went into a revelation that we need lots of work on that concept!}.
I don't have a skillet, so we had deviled green eggs and ham :)

"That was the grossest thing that I ever had." I was rolling when she brought it to show me!!

"I like all. It was best." This from my sweetie who requested another egg!
In math, we graphed whether we liked the snack and we also used "eggs" that were white on one side and green on the other to decompose the number 10.

I am off to do a little updating to my St. Patrick's Day pack {I'm adding some more centers} and hope to have it ready tomorrow. You can get it here and will get the updates at no extra charge when they are added. :)

  4. Fun green eggs and ham activities! Facts and opinions are hard. If they say it or read it, it must be a fact! :)
