Groundhog Day and a Sale

For some reason, I love doing a little mini celebration for groundhog day and am a little sad that it falls on Saturday this year! I guess I'll have to wait until Monday to watch a re-run of the news with my kiddos to see if we're going to have early spring or more winter. Here's a little bit of what we did to celebrate:

We made our prediction of what we think the groundhog will predict and graphed our results as a class. Then, we analyzed our data as a class. I was so impressed when one of my sweeties said she was choosing early spring because we don't have much of a winter anyway!

{This activity is avaliable in my groundhog pack here}
We read Gretchen Groundhog, It's Your Day and talked about how characters can change in a story:
We also wrote about our predictions and made these super cute big eyed groundhogs that you can get in Heidi's pack here.

In other news, TpT is having a big sale Sunday to celebrate the Super Bowl {I'm torn about who I want to win...I really like both teams!}. My store will be 20% off and you can get an extra percentage off by using the coupon code below on Sunday (click the picture to shop). I'm already filling my wishlist!

Are you having a sale? Link up below :)
