Names and Numbers {And a Freebie}

What a busy week! We are really getting settled in to our routines and have a had a pretty good past few days. I'm really proud of how well my kids are getting into the school groove!

You can get Deeanna's Common Core Math Pack here and my Nifty Numbers Pack here.

Since my class is having so much fun with Pete the Cat, I thought I would share an emergent reader I made for us to use next week when we read about Pete's different colored shoes. You can get it for free by clicking the picture below. Please let me know if you are able to use it.

Have a great weekend!

  7. Such a cute freebie! I have a question, when I try to print this book, the words come out as black boxes. Do you have any idea what I am doing wrong?

    1. If you're on a mac, make sure it's opening in adobe and not preview. Other than that, I'm not sure. If you will email me (vick727@yahoo.com), I can email the book to you to see if it makes a difference :)

    1. Thank you! I don't have the all about number poster for sale because Deeanna made something very similar that you can get here: http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Number-Boards-1-10

      It's a different pack than her common core, but it's only $3 and includes a few more things than mine. If you go this blog post, she shows it:

  16. thanks so much! I love your pete book! My kids had a BALL doing it. The one thing that I did add, though, was to have my 6th graders draw a line under all the color words, it helped to make sure that they got it right.

  19. The Names and Numbers resource, along with the accompanying freebie, is a wonderful asset for teaching children important skills. Should You Use A VPN On My Home Network It provides an engaging and effective way to learn about names, numbers, and their relationships.
