Oh my goodness....I am in love!! I have been wanting my own laminator for quite a while, but with a new baby coming soon, it's gotten put on the back burner. So, imagine how excited I was when My Binding sent me their awesome Papermonster laminator to review! Since it came in the mail yesterday, I have been using it like crazy! The laminator is super easy to use...plug it in, slide a switch and wait for the light to turn blue. I waited less than 10 minutes for it to warm up!
|
Very compact and does not take up a lot of space...the cord even wraps up into the bottom! |
|
Put whatever you're laminating into a sleeve or "pouch" |
|
Slide your pouch through the laminator (I forgot to use my protective sleeve, but I won't next time...it didn't mess anything up though!). On a side note, I hope to have this 3 Little Pigs pack up soon! |
|
My stack of laminating! |
|
The machine is wonderful and the laminating is thick and not "flimsy" like some of the laminating you can get sometimes. I am super happy! The good news is, you have a chance to win your own laminator too!
My Binding (click to check them out) is offering a giveaway and all you have to do to enter is use the Rafflecopter below. Good luck!

In other news, some super sweet teacher bloggers and I have teamed up to play in a Fantasy Football League! We are super excited and can't wait for the games today to get a glimpse at how our teams are going to fare. Here's my team (in case you're wondering!):
QB: Russell Wilson (hoping the rookie gets lucky!!)
RB: Frank Gore and DeAngelo Williams
WR: Calvin Johnson and Sidney Rice
TE: Rob Gronkowski
Flex: Demaryius Thomas
K: Nick Folk
D: 49rs
Check out the other ladies who are playing and follow their blogs while you're there!
This looks great...how are the things that you cut apart holding up? I hate our laminator at school...everything peals!
ReplyDeleteI just started using it yesterday, but the things I cut seem like they're going to hold up well because it's so think and it's not peeling!! :)
DeleteI would laminate EVERYTHING!! Right now I have some student pictures and word wall cards to laminate!

I'm a licensed home daycare provider. I'm always on Pinterest finding cool ideas and things to make! I would laminate most of the projects that I make for durability and extended use. It would be great since I have mixed age groups and the toddlers wouldn't be able to rip or crumble so easily!
ReplyDeleteI would laminate my new addition games. I love to laminate!
ReplyDeleteloularkin@comcast.net
I'm a kindergarten teacher, and we do lots of precious art. As a parent, I would appreciate if my child's work was laminated so it would last a long time! Since our laminating film runs out almost as fast as the custodian can put it on, it seems our school is always out. I would laminate those art projects, and little things I create to put up in the classroom. Thanks for the opportunity!
ReplyDeleteKrista519@aol.com
I would laminate all those little things that get stuck and mangled in the big laminator at school. I would also keep it at home--a teacher's work is never done, but I could laminate and watch football! :)
ReplyDeleteI have a ton of things I would laminate!! I am making name tags that look like little driver's license for the kids to move around to each center. They need to be super sturdy because they will be manipulated every day!
ReplyDeleteHoping wishing praying! I have always wanted a laminator to call my own! I have a serious addiction to laminating things...I think I could start a support because I read I am not alone!
DeleteI've been making TONS of centers this year for my combined 1st/2nd grade classes this and this would make my life A LOT easier!!

I pretty much laminate everything, otherwise all things would be destroyed. Thanks for the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteWith my recent grade level change to Kindergarten, I have quickly realized that there is a lot of preparation for center work! My othe observation is that five year olds can't help being roug with just about everything they touch. if i had my own personal laminator, I would be able to laminate everything I'm planning on reusing in the future!
ReplyDeleteOf course I would laminate EVERYTHING:) I love to laminate center and game pieces so that I can reuse them (color ink is expensive!). I also like to laminate game boards or recording sheets so kiddos can write on them with dry erase markers! Fingers crossed;)

My school just purchased a new laminator and won't let anyone but the copy room aide use it. Having my own would be a dream. I wouldn't have to put things in days in advance hoping it is done in time for me to cut. In my class everything needs to be laminated if you have any hope of using it more than once.
ReplyDeleteI'd be a slimline laminator to keep at my desk!!!
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I are both elementary teachers. This would save us both so much time traveling back to school after we create, print and cut classroom essentials.
