  9. How cute is that!! Every student made their own? How much time did that take?

    1. Yes, each student made their own so that they could take them home. Two other teachers and I dyed our socks green together in the cafeteria washer one day, then hot glued the eyes and drew the mouths on the socks. That didn't take much time. The most time consuming part was cutting holes in 8 plates for each student, but I just did it one night watching TV. The kids took about 30 minutes for 2 days to finish their plates. It was so worth it watching them retell the story!
